The Tanzhaus*Folk e.V. hosts the New Year's Eve festival at Castle Colditz. For more than 30 years, the association organizes concerts and festivals in Leipzig. We look back at many years of happy memories, at real youngsters and those that are young at heart, as well as at wonderful music. The oldest child of the association is the Leipziger Tanzhausfest, which invites Bal Folk enthusiasts from all over Germany to our home town for four days. During the year we carry out about 10 balls and participate in various bal folk side projects. In all those years, we aimed at actively supporting modern and traditional music and dance and to participate in the care, maintaining and development of cultural assets in Europe.
